Local INR payments for India contractors.

Your contractors want rupees on a predictable date, not a SWIFT trace number and a shrug. Under our Contractor of Record service, payouts leave our Bengaluru account in INR on a fixed monthly date, with FX handled transparently on your single USD invoice. $19 per contractor per month, payments included.

INR payouts from our Indian account on a fixed date each month. One USD invoice on your side, transparent FX in between. Part of the $19 COR service.

International wires versus a local payout rail.

The wire looks free until you price the FX spread, the trace emails and the contractor who quietly starts interviewing because pay day is a range, not a date.

What late pay actually costs you.

Contractors do not send escalation emails about late pay. They derisk quietly: a second client, fewer available hours, then notice. Every unpredictable pay cycle is compounding attrition risk on the people hardest to replace.

A fixed payout date removes the question entirely. The credit arrives the same day every month, and the contractor's attention stays on the work.

A date, not a window

Payout day is a calendar date the contractor can plan rent around. Not a settlement window, not a range, not subject to correspondent bank moods.

FX in daylight

Conversion happens at rates shown on your invoice, not inside a spread you cannot see. Finance can reconcile the USD out to the INR in without a spreadsheet archaeology session.

Domestic credits, clean tax trail

Because payouts are domestic INR transfers matched with TDS deposits and Form 16A, your contractors' own filings get simpler. Contractors notice, and it becomes a reason good people say yes to you.

Part of a larger machine

This rail is the same infrastructure that pays employees for our EOR clients every month. Contractor payouts ride on rails already stress-tested by payroll.

Compliance as a hiring perk.

Moving someone across

If a contractor converts to employment.

The payout rail stays, the legal wrapper changes. Salary replaces invoices, statutory deductions replace TDS on fees, and the person sees the same reliability on the same dates.

Contractor fees route through at cost. If monthly payouts to the same person have become salary in disguise, the EOR versus entity calculator shows what honesty costs, and it is usually less than you think.

Local payments, asked and answered.

The mechanics buyers want confirmed before moving payouts.

How do payments actually flow?

You receive one USD invoice covering all contractors late in the month. Once settled, INR credits leave our Bengaluru account on the fixed payout date, each matched with a TDS deposit and a payout advice. Contractors see a domestic transfer, not a foreign remittance.

What FX rate do contractors get?

Conversion is shown on your invoice at transparent rates rather than hidden in a spread. The INR amount the contractor receives is agreed in advance, so rate movement is not silently absorbed by the person doing the work.

Can contractors be paid in USD instead?

The service is built for INR payouts, which is what keeps the contractor's tax position domestic and simple. If a contractor specifically needs foreign currency receipts, that is a different structure with export-of-services implications, and we will say so rather than force a fit.

What happens when a payment fails?

Failures on domestic INR transfers are rare and resolve inside Indian banking hours because both accounts are onshore. We handle the retry and the contractor communication; you find out it happened after it is fixed.

Is there a payment we will not process?

We pay verified, KYC-complete contractors under active agreements for invoiced work. We do not process payments outside an agreement, backdated invoices constructed after the fact, or arrangements that look like disguised salary without flagging the misclassification conversation first.

What proof exists for audits?

Per contractor per month: the invoice, the payout advice, the bank credit reference and the TDS challan, reconciled quarterly against Form 16A. Diligence teams get a complete folder rather than an email hunt.

Do you handle contractors outside India?

No. India is the entire business, which is exactly why the rail works the way it does. For multi-country contractor payments you want a global platform, and our comparison pages will point you at the honest options.
