How long does it take to build a five-person India team?

Four to six weeks from MSA signing to all five specialists on their first salary. Sourcing takes one to three weeks per role depending on band. The five-business-day Versatile EOR onboarding runs in parallel for each placement. The first specialist can be active on Day 5; the fifth typically by week 6.

Is recruitment included in the Employer of Record fee?

Recruitment is a separate line: $99 per position on multi-channel job distribution or $1,199 per month on dedicated retained search. Contingent search is also available pay-on-placement. The Employer of Record fee covers employment, payroll, compliance, and benefits but not the search itself.

Does Versatile provide equipment for the India team?

Yes. Macbook laptops, external monitors, keyboards, mice, and any peripheral the role requires from our Bengaluru warehouse. The bill of materials per role is pre-agreed at MSA. Devices remain Versatile property and are returned on exit. Asset tracking and insurance handled by us.

What benefits are included for India hires?

Group health insurance (ICICI Lombard or equivalent), group life insurance, gratuity policy (LIC), Karnataka professional tax handling, statutory leave administration, and a wellness budget if elected. The benefits stack is the same as our Agent of Record product for entity-owners.

Can I see the India team in person or visit them?

Yes. Most Versatile specialists are based in Bengaluru. We can arrange in-person introductions, office visits to our Bengaluru working space, or coordinate co-working memberships in your specialists' home cities (Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi NCR, Chennai).

What happens when the team grows past 25-30?

At 25-30 hires, the all-in cost of running your own Indian Private Limited starts being lower than the EOR fee. Versatile walks through the cost math transparently and supports the EOR-to-entity transition. After transition, we can stay on as Managed Payroll if you want operational continuity.
